Job Summary

Regional Program Manager to oversee daily operations of Heart Havens’ residential programs, supervise House Managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with residential program staff and administration. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, on-site evaluations, coaching and feedback, routine program visits, ISP participation (attending meetings, drafting Part V’s, and submitting materials), monitoring Part V/Plan implementations, developing response to resident status changes, drafting quarterly person-centered reports, coordinating trainings and staff development, maintaining staffing plans, communicating hiring needs, reviewing Therap documentation, producing weekly ISP reports, reviewing GERs, following up on corrective actions, supporting risk management and incident follow-ups, conducting supervision and performance evaluations, guiding House Managers on performance and disciplinary actions, coordinating intake/discharge processes, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders, Serious Incident Reporter in CHRIS system, participating in Quality Improvement activities, managing electronic and paper records, reviewing monthly reports, conducting quarterly home inspections, and supporting budget adherence; requires 4-year degree in Human Services or related field, 5 years of leadership experience, QDDP standards, Virginia driver’s license, and the ability to drive up to 8 hours and perform physical tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 year degree in Human Services or related field
  • 5 years of leadership experience
  • Meets Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) standards
  • Valid Virginia driver’s license
  • Demonstrate Heart Havens’ mission and values through actions and leadership
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent supervisory skills, including the ability to provide recognition and set clear expectations
  • Excellent written communication skills for report preparation and cross-departmental collaboration
  • Strong verbal communication skills to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Foster a welcoming, motivating, and team-oriented work environment
  • Effectively manage competing priorities and execute tasks accordingly
  • Meet deadlines reliably and deliver high-quality work
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings efficiently
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must maintain required certifications: Therapeutic Options, Medication Administration, and First Aid/CPR/AED
  • Ability to provide direct support, which may require behavior management interventions, ADLs, and driving up to 8 hours
