Job Summary
Regional Program Manager leads the planning, execution, and enhancement of Woodcraft Rangers’ after-school and specialty programs across the greater Los Angeles area. Responsibilities include contract development with partner schools, program strategy, supervising site coordinators and club leaders, budget and startup planning, quality assurance and compliance, stakeholder engagement with school districts and community partners, staff training and scalable program delivery, event coordination, crisis management, and regular impact reporting. The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration with diverse teams, and ability to travel across regions while maintaining program excellence and adherence to organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or related field (or combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in educational program development, curriculum design, or youth development
- Proven experience in creating and managing educational or youth programs with emphasis on standards
- Strategic planning and project management experience
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and quality assurance for programs
- Experience building relationships with school districts, community leaders, and external partners
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are beneficial
- Experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse communities in high-need areas of Los Angeles; knowledge of local education systems
- COVID-19 vaccination proof required for in-person work; LIVE Scan, TB clearance, and CPR certification (provided by Woodcraft Rangers)
