Regional Program Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee administration and operations of multiple after-school and summer programs, including policy implementation, purchasing, staff hiring and training, and risk management. Ensure site staff enforce organizational policies through regular site visits for licensing and grant monitoring. Manage Center Directors via performance management, goal setting, and coaching while collaborating on staff recruitment and ratio compliance. Drive regularly to fulfill program delivery needs and maintain fiscal soundness across all sites. Build relationships with school leadership, parents, vendors, and community partners to meet enrollment expectations and respond to inquiries. Support organizational initiatives by attending fundraising events and partnering with communications teams to gather program content.
Required Qualifications
- Requirements of Program Director as detailed in the Virginia Regulations for Licensed Child Day Centers
- A graduate degree in a child-related field (such as, but not limited to, elementary education, nursing, or recreation) from a college or university, plus six months of programmatic experience
- An endorsement or bachelor's degree in a child-related field (such as, but not limited to, elementary education, nursing, or recreation) from a college or university, plus one year of programmatic experience
- Forty-eight semester hours (or 72 quarter hours) of college credit, including 12 semester hours (or 18 quarter hours) in child-related subjects, plus one year of programmatic experience
- Management experience, including hiring and training staff
- Experience working in a licensed child care facility
- Experience working with students in school or program settings
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge of licensed day care facility operations
