Job Summary
Develop and implement regional category strategies for cables in APAC, including market research, competitive analysis, and budget forecasting to optimize spend and mitigate supply risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while evaluating vendors against quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and manage a team through motivation and coaching. Travel as needed for supplier visits, industry events, or customer meetings to ensure reliable supply chain operations and drive innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
- 15+ years of procurement experience in a corporate environment
- At least 5 years of direct leadership experience in global or multi-cultural environment
- Ability to travel (air and ground throughout the region) for various meetings
- 2+ minimum years of procurement experience as a category manager or similar role
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Business Software
- Business fluent in English as a communication language
