Job Summary
Source suppliers and onboard manufacturing partners across the EAME region for CAT Solutions diesel and gas genset enclosures, electrical controls, and switchgear. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while leading a team to ensure suppliers meet People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost metrics. Develop and execute a robust supply strategy aligned with sales colleagues, manage solution capacity and capability, and drive adoption of standardized best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires 25%-50% travel and is based onsite five days a week, with postings available in Peterborough, Larne, and Dubai.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of working across Global Sales organisations
- Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions
- Knowledge of the power generation equipment, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication
- Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers
- Ability to analyse the purpose and scope of a producer, product, process, or project in terms of cost and benefits
- A completed university degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), manufacturing, or related field
- Must be proficient in English
- 25%-50% Travel dependent on home location

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Deisel and Gas Power Generators design and possibly sales
- Experience in scope of Data Centre standby and prime power sourcing requirements
- Extensive experience and knowledge of EAME CAT dealer network
- second Languages in Arabic would also be very useful
