Job Summary
Regional Portfolio Manager responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight across a diverse portfolio of multifamily communities in the Twin Cities area. Lead and mentor Property Managers; oversee budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and corrective action plans; monitor occupancy, collections, maintenance, and resident satisfaction; conduct property visits and capital project oversight; ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and governing policies; collaborate with Marketing, site teams, and compliance on LIHTC/Section 8 programs; serve as primary liaison to multiple investor and ownership groups with clear communication and timely reporting; build strong relationships with owners, vendors, and industry partners; requires strong financial, analytical, and leadership capabilities, plus experience with affordable housing programs and asset preservation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Regional Property/Portfolio Manager in the multifamily housing industry
- Demonstrated strength in financial management, budgeting, and operational analysis
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and support employee development
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience overseeing capital projects and asset preservation initiatives
- Ability to work effectively with diverse investor groups and adapt to varying ownership goals
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Working knowledge of affordable housing compliance, including LIHTC and Section 8
