Job Summary
Manage winning campaigns for challenger and open seat races by recruiting campaign staff, providing support for campaign managers, and problem-solving alongside Democratic operations. Brief partners on goals and progress while working with leadership to execute fundraising, organizing, political, paid media, and press plans for assigned districts. Advise leadership on investment strategies and travel to regions to collaborate directly with campaigns. Requires two cycles of congressional campaign management and three cycles of staff leadership. Based in DC headquarters with full-time, salary-exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 cycles of campaign management at Congressional level or equivalent experience
- At least 3 cycles of staff management and team leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of paid media planning, including tracking competitive spending and analyzing digital media plans
- Ability to travel extensively
- Self-motivation and the ability to anticipate and prevent problems
- Thorough understanding of the House battlefield and a strong commitment to winning back the House
- Strong commitment to teamwork and developing leadership
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels
