Job Summary
Drive project governance and decision-making across the United States and Latin America by coordinating with business, technology, risk, compliance, operations, and vendor teams. Track portfolio progress, manage risks and dependencies, escalate critical issues, and ensure timely delivery of key program objectives. Facilitate stakeholder communications, prepare executive-level materials, and lead alignment within a complex global banking environment. Requires fluent English, banking PMO experience, and strong Japanese corporate governance knowledge. Hybrid schedule includes four days on-site and one remote day.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English communication skills
- PMO experience in banking, IT, transformation, regulatory, or governance-related projects
- Experience working in or with a Japanese megabank
- Strong stakeholder coordination skills across multiple regions
- Ability to prepare clear project status reports, meeting minutes, and executive-level materials
- Understanding of Japanese corporate governance and decision-making processes
- Bachelor's degree in a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- Hybrid work schedule: four days on-site and work remotely one day per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MUFG or MUFG group entities
- Japanese language skills
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills
- Experience in banking technology, regulatory projects, infrastructure, core banking, payments, or operational risk
