Job Summary
Regional Platform Engineering Focal for the Americas provides in-region expert support for End User Device (EUD) services, aligning with global standards and driving scalable, standardized solutions. Responsibilities include administering macOS and iOS configurations, managing Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoints, lifecycle management (enrollment, provisioning, patching, decommissioning), deploying zero-touch workflows, monitoring compliance and inventory, integrating MDM tooling with Entra ID/Azure AD and conditional access, automating repetitive tasks with Bash/PowerShell/Python, and contributing to documentation and runbooks. The role emphasizes collaboration with security and identity teams, escalation support for desktop issues, and participation in endpoint-related projects such as OS migrations and security hardening, with autonomy within the region and support from the global EUD function.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in endpoint management or systems administration in a mid- to large-scale environment
- Hands-on administration experience with macOS (profiles, policies, smart groups, scripts, and patch management)
- Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager for Windows endpoints (configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployment, and Autopilot)
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts, device lifecycle, and modern management for macOS and Windows
- Scripting proficiency in at least one language commonly used for endpoint automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Solid grasp of core networking and security concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, certificates, conditional access, endpoint security)
- Experience working with identity platforms such as Entra ID/Azure AD, including device compliance
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functional with IT, security, and business stakeholders
- Being open to growth and collaboration in a hybrid-friendly culture
