Job Summary

Regional Planning Leader for watersheds and stormwater, focused on Minnesota and opportunities to grow the practice in the upper Midwest and across the United States. Lead planning, modeling, and design of stormwater improvements (open channels, sewer systems, detention/retention facilities), green infrastructure, flood mitigation (dams, levees, reservoirs, pump stations), erosion and sediment control (SWPPP), and regulatory permitting. Provide business development leadership, build client relationships, manage projects, mentor professionals, and recruit early-career staff. Requires 11+ years of water resources planning/design and a PE license. Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA XP-SWMM, InfoWorks, EFDC, CFD, ArcGIS, and asset-management systems. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days, with positions in Bloomington, MN, or at Ohio offices, and in Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK.

Required Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
  • Certifications
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Desired Qualifications

  • 11+ years of water resources planning and design experience
  • Experience developing and executing water resource planning and design projects
  • Have proficiency with some or all of the following applications and models
  • InfoWorks
  • Cityworks, Lucity, or other Asset Management/CMMS systems
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures
  • Drive client-facing/business development effort
