Job Summary
Regional Placement Coordinator (Remote) collaborates with Regional Career Development Coordinators and instructors to enhance employability skills and career placement opportunities for Job Corps students, aligning with DOL guidelines. Responsibilities include developing strategies to promote placement opportunities, creating Student Career Exit Readiness Plans, delivering training on resumes, cover letters, and interview techniques, providing ongoing job development and post-placement support, maintaining accurate placement data across systems, assisting with housing and transportation needs, fostering community engagement and partnerships with HBAs and contractors, promoting safety in HBI shops, and supporting program administration and evaluation. Requires a four-year degree plus three years in workforce development or related field, plus a current driver’s license. Occasional travel (~75%) within the assigned Northeast and Southern regions is anticipated. OSHA-10-hour construction training is included in the role, and collaboration with instructors to address programmatic issues and improve outcomes is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) year degree plus three (3) years’ experience in workforce development, employee placement or related field
- Current valid driver’s license
