Job Summary
Lead the People Partnering strategy for the Philippines region, setting priorities and success measures to deliver high-impact, business-aligned outcomes. Act as a strategic adviser to senior leadership, translating people priorities into actionable business strategies while representing the function in planning and decision-making. Drive the operational set-up of the Delivery Centre, navigate local labour unions, and ensure compliance with Philippine employment law. Manage the strategic rollout of the Graduate Academy and execute ad-hoc hiring across the region. Oversee organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development programs to drive retention and culture alignment. Collaborate with regional peers and work closely with the Delivery Centre Director and talent acquisition team. Work on-site at the Delivery Centre four days per week during EMEA hours.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR / People Partnering experience
- at least 4–5 years in a senior, business-facing leadership role with direct accountability to an Executive or senior leadership team
- Proven experience leading or scaling a People/HR function within a shared services, or delivery/operations centre environment in the Philippines
- Demonstrated success operating as a strategic HR business partner to C-suite or senior executive stakeholders, translating commercial priorities into people strategy
- Direct experience standing up or scaling a new site or delivery centre, including workforce planning, facilities-linked hiring ramp-up, and regulatory set-up
- Experience designing, launching, or governing a graduate, apprenticeship, or trainee programme, including compliance coordination with educational institutions and government bodies
- Track record of leading complex employee relations casework, restructuring, and organisational change in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience partnering with or managing relationships with labour unions and employee representative bodies
- Prior experience working within a regional or global People/HR function, collaborating with peer People Partners across multiple geographies
- Deep, current knowledge of Philippine labor law and regulatory practice
- Solid understanding of organizational design, workforce planning, and job architecture methodologies
- Strong grounding in people analytics — comfortable working with workforce data (attrition, engagement, performance, capability) to diagnose root causes and shape leadership decisions
- Familiarity with performance management, engagement, and leadership development frameworks, and how to link them to measurable business outcomes
- Strategic and commercially minded — able to connect people's priorities directly to business goals and articulate the ROI of HR initiatives
- Confident, credible influencer of senior/Executive stakeholders, with excellent judgement in ambiguous or high-stakes situations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to flex style for Executive, operational, and government/regulatory audiences
- Resilient and adaptable, able to manage multiple competing priorities (strategic projects, compliance deadlines, ER cases) simultaneously
- Culturally attuned — able to champion company values authentically while respecting local norms and expectations in the Philippines
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Ability to work on-site at the Delivery Centre 4 days per week
- Ability to work EMEA hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), SPHR/PHRi, or equivalent Philippine or international accreditation)
