Job Summary
Regional Payroll Manager APAC oversees end-to-end payroll processing for all countries in the assigned region, leads Payroll Analysts, and partners with HR, Finance, HRIS, Legal, and external vendors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Responsible for defining and tracking KPIs and SLAs, managing payroll audits, ensuring policy/documentation currency, and driving process improvements. Leads recruitment, onboarding, and development of Payroll Analysts, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance across regions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience
- at least 3 years in a people management role
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance across multiple countries
- Demonstrated experience managing teams across diverse cultures and time zones
- Proven ability to define, measure, and improve KPIs and SLAs
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
