Job Summary
Regional Packaging Engineer responsible for overseeing regional packaging operations, developing and maintaining packaging specifications and instructions, collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and customer representatives to implement packaging improvements, and leading or supporting the design, installation, and commissioning of packaging equipment. Focus on continuously optimizing packaging operations to boost quality, productivity, and cost savings while partnering with operators, engineers, maintenance, and plant management to achieve packaging goals. Supports Quality and Product Management in investigating and resolving packaging-related customer complaints. Travel regionally 10-20% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, or similar preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in packaging and packaging equipment within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with packaging liquids is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel regionally as needed
