Job Summary

Regional OTR Sales Representative responsible for developing and executing a regional sales plan to retain and grow the competitive commercial tire business. Prospect and qualify potential new OTR customers; design and present proposals that align with customer needs and budget; onboard and manage client accounts; analyze client programs for profitability; assist the region branches with warehouse/service needs; lead in implementation of customer programs at region level; facilitate communication with Branch Managers and OTR Branch staff; leverage CRM software and MS Office; demonstrate leadership, organizational, and strong communication; identify new growth opportunities and drive regional sales growth. Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check and drug screen, and be able to work with leads provided from day one.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience (commercial tire industry strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in the OTR industry
  • Proven track record of new account development and strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Leadership skills and the ability to analyze customer programs for profitability
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurable by company standards
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
  • Must have strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, as well as close attention to detail
  • Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and time constraints
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and client base
  • Requires the ability to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and business insight
