Job Summary
Regional Organizing Directors (RODs) will manage and support teams of organizers across Pennsylvania regions, overseeing in-person work and travel on college campuses, trade/technical schools, and other venues. Responsibilities include regional team management, adaptive organizing and innovation, data integrity and reporting using VAN, BLOCKS, and Mobilize, and stakeholder coordination with campus partners, unions, and coalitions. The role requires at least two cycles of organizing experience with team-training/management, strong data-driven performance skills, willingness to work weekends and irregular hours, and a driver’s license with access to a reliable car. Compensation is $6,000/month for a full-time role running from late July to mid-November 2026, with benefits including PTO and a technology stipend, and opportunities to lead statewide adaptations as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ cycles of organizing experience
- experience training and managing teams of staff, leaders, interns, and/or volunteers
- campus organizing experience is a plus
- strong understanding of Google Suite and VAN
- ability to build a positive team culture
- self-directed with attention to detail
- commitment to progressive values and empowering youth through organizing and leadership development
- driver's license and access to a reliable car
- live near or relocate to focus campuses
- flexible schedule including weekends and irregular hours
