Job Summary
Provide occupancy and compliance support across multiple properties within an assigned region in Central, MA, traveling between communities to assist with staffing, lease-ups, recertifications, and applicant processing. Process affordable housing applications, review documentation for accuracy, prepare LIHTC certifications, and maintain compliant resident files while monitoring certification deadlines. Support occupancy stabilization and leasing goals by coordinating lotteries, managing waitlists, and addressing audit requirements for HUD, HOME, and other applicable programs. Maintain accurate records in property management software and generate occupancy reports. Requires reliable transportation, ability to travel throughout the territory, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout assigned territory required
- Experience in affordable housing, LIHTC compliance, leasing, occupancy, or property management preferred
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations preferred
- Familiarity with HUD, HOME, PBV, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs is a plus
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different site environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management/compliance software systems
Desired Qualifications
- COS, TCS, HCCP, or equivalent LIHTC certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
