Job Summary
Oversee Distribution Center Managers in daily warehouse execution, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control while monitoring workflow planning and labor allocation. Conduct regular operational reviews, facility audits, and performance assessments to identify improvement opportunities, then coach and mentor leadership teams to enhance operational effectiveness. Analyze key operational KPIs, implement corrective actions for productivity and accuracy, and partner with Customer Service, Procurement, and Human Resources to resolve issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste and increasing labor productivity, while ensuring compliance with safety programs and OSHA regulations. Provide regular operational reporting to the Director of Supply Chain regarding productivity, service levels, and risks. Travel 25–50% depending on assigned Distribution Centers and project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of warehouse or distribution center management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to improve warehouse productivity, labor efficiency, and operational performance
- Proficiency with WMS systems, inventory management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities
- Travel 25–50%, depending on assigned Distribution Centers and project needs
- Standing, Walking, Reaching/Bending, Endurance, Balancing/Mobility, Manual Dexterity, Exposure to varying conditions, Repetitive Motion, Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently, safety equipment, loud noises: 8-hour work shift
- May occasionally require weekends or overtime
