Regional Operations Manager

Job Summary

Manage Florida Operations by developing business plans for sales growth, implementing clinical programs, and ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and JCAHO guidelines. Lead branch managers and staff to achieve KPI targets while maintaining inventory levels, controlling assets, and recruiting qualified personnel. Build and maintain relationships with patients and referral sources to drive profitability and exceed budgeted goals. Ensure all employees complete necessary training and adhere to company policies in an office, warehouse, and field environment. Some travel via automobile is required for patient visits and meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related degree
  • One to three years of supervisory experience
  • minimum of one-year prior supervisory experience
  • Three years' experience in home health industry
  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
  • Interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
  • Medical terminology
  • Multi-task along with attention to detail
  • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership abilities to organize, plan and delegate properly in accordance with size and services of the location
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Some travel via automobile
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
  • Office, warehouse and field environment
  • Some travel via automobile required to patient's homes, referral sources and meetings
  • May be required to use a personal vehicle for business activities
  • Employment is contingent on: Background investigation (company-wide)

Desired Qualifications

  • equivalent combination of education and experience in HME, home health industry or business preferred
  • Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
