Job Summary
Serve as the primary operational partner to Portfolio Vice Presidents and school leaders, providing strategic guidance for school operations, compliance, enrollment, staffing, and organizational performance. Lead and execute cross-functional initiatives including new school launches, expansions, and enrollment growth efforts while monitoring operational, financial, and compliance data to identify trends and assess risks. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and organizational requirements through policy implementation, operational reviews, and audit readiness activities. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating processes, resolving challenges, and developing scalable procedures and training to enhance efficiency. This home-based role requires 20% travel and is open to residents of Washington, D.C., and any state except Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Eight (8) or more years of progressively responsible operational leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
- Experience developing operational strategy, process improvements, and organizational solutions
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MS 365; Web proficiency
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
Desired Qualifications
- Formal project management experience in fast-paced or start-up environment
- Non-profit / education grants management experience
- Experience with managing online learning schools
