Regional Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee strategic and operational leadership across a multi-branch geographic area, ensuring consistent execution of operational standards, exceptional customer service, and a best-in-class customer experience. Direct warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and working capital optimization, while resolving operational issues quickly and effectively. Supervise warehouse leaders and support teams, driving performance across safety, service, cost, and people metrics. Manage operational aspects of the P&L for the region, monitor expenses against approved budgets, and implement standard operating procedures to improve processes. Partner with regional sales and store leaders to align operational capacity with business strategy, ensuring sales execution and margin protection. Maintain facilities in tour-ready condition, enforce safety and compliance standards, and analyze operational data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool degree or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurability
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Expert knowledge of wholesale distribution operations
- Proven experience with fleet, inventory, and distribution operations
- Understanding of P&L management including achieving revenue and margin goals
- General knowledge of governmental regulations as applied to product distribution, including OSHA regulations, Worker's Compensation, and Hazardous Materials Handling
- Ten years of progressive operations leadership experience
- Minimum of five years' supervisory experience
- Ability to develop efficient work procedures, support, train to, and implement operating procedures
- Ability to train employees across varying skill levels
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Company-utilized software platforms including but not limited to Epicor/Eclipse and Microsoft suite of products
- Knowledge of human resource management principles, including recruiting and hiring, training and development, delegating, coaching, and evaluating employees
- Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk on a concrete floor for much of the workday
- Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Physical ability to lift and carry and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to sit for long periods of time for driving duties
- Physical ability to talk or hear
- Physical ability for near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and color vision
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field
- A solid understanding of branch operations and methodologies with a strong work history in managing all aspects of wholesale distribution
- Experience with RF technology
- Knowledge of Eclipse ERP
- Multilingual skills
