Regional Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, including hiring, training, and scheduling maintenance staff for ice, equipment, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. Lead operations teams to ensure consistent delivery, manage budget control, and drive cost savings through energy-efficient practices. Supervise facility walkthroughs, maintenance tasks, and capital projects while coordinating with third-party contractors and reporting repair needs to Engineering. Ensure facilities are event-ready and safe for patrons by adhering to life safety protocols and enforcing facility regulations. This on-site role requires extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a preference for candidates possessing five years of supervisory experience in multi-sport entertainment facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience supervising in a multi-sport entertainment facility
- Extensive knowledge of day-to-day ice rink business including heavy equipment/machinery, ice maintenance and installation, etc.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and ammonia systems
- Ability to change filters, belts, bearings, etc., on various pieces of equipment and/or machinery
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience driving forklifts, scissor, and boom lifts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to frequently work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
