Job Summary
Review current operations and service delivery processes across UK and Ireland businesses to identify quick wins and implement strategic improvements. Develop a national service offering and Group identity to enable business growth, while planning long-term people strategies including recruitment and training. Drive the embedding of best practices to build a consistent commercial and industrial approach to operational excellence. Quickly build practical relationships with individual group businesses of varying sizes to maximize the impact of operational changes. This role involves extensive travel to sites and homeworking within a matrix management structure, reporting directly to the CEO.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Refrigeration or Air Con / Vent operations professional
- Background in delivering relevant strategic objectives
- Demonstrable track record, leading multi-layered and multi-site teams in delivering high service standards
- Exemplary inter-personal skills
- Ability to build great relationships in organisations of all sizes, inc. SME's
- Refrigeration and/or Air Con / Vent sector experience
- Related sector operations & service delivery experience
- Sector operations expert
- Pragmatic
- Engaging
- Down-to-earth
- Ability to deal with national clients
- Comfortable in small business settings
- Able to deal with strategic settings
- Must be available for travel across the UK & Ireland
