Regional Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day inspection and operational activities across Brazil and the South Cone, acting as the primary liaison between field inspectors, laboratory managers, and strategic customers including Copec, ENAP, and Petroecuador. Schedule job assignments for inspectors, request analytical tests, and compile data from field measurements and laboratory testing to prepare customer reports. Monitor operational performance, identify quality system problems, and recommend improvements while controlling field equipment inventory and ensuring proper maintenance. Maintain proactive communication regarding nominations, scheduling, and issue resolution, and perform front-filling duties for Branch Managers during absences. This role requires frequent regional travel (5–8 times annually) and fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience supporting petroleum, energy, commodities, marine, logistics, or Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) operations
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English (written and verbal)
- Frequent regional travel
- Must be willing and able to travel approximately 5 to 8 times per year, with each trip typically lasting a minimum of one week, including international travel throughout South America and other countries within the region as business needs require
- Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally without restriction
- Must possess strong communication, managerial, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Must possess technical and theoretical knowledge of operational and/or laboratory-related matters
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift up-to-20 pounds, push & pull, reach overhead, stoop, squat, and wear protective equipment if required
- Must have the ability to meet all physical demands with or without accommodation to perform in this position
Desired Qualifications
- B.S./B.A. (preferable science degree)
- Experience coordinating activities across multiple countries and working with multinational customers
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain effective communication with clients and operational teams across different countries and cultures
