Job Summary
Regional Oncology Specialist (Lead ROS) in Nashville/Chattanooga, TN focused on maximizing utilization of Exact Sciences’ genomic oncology products (OncoDetect MRD, OncoExTra, RiskGuard, Cancerguard) through field-based, territory management with healthcare providers, payers, and patient support groups. Key duties include meeting/exceeding sales objectives, developing strategic territory plans, building clinical knowledge to support product access, managing relationships with physicians and stakeholders, and travel up to ~75% to promote and demonstrate products; requires strong clinical/scientific expertise and ability to navigate reimbursement and access dynamics. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of sales experience in oncology/diagnostics, plus 3+ years medical sales experience, with hybrid/field responsibilities in TN markets; travel and compliance with company quality policies are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or Science, or related field; or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of sales experience selling/promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics or similar healthcare products
- 3+ years medical sales experience in specialty areas (e.g., Buy & Bill, Medical Device, oncology)
- 3+ years experience selling in a competitive environment
- Demonstrated clinical and scientific expertise
- Strong territory/account management skills
- Understanding of competitors and market trends
- Valid driver's license; no major violations in past 36 months
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
