Job Summary
Direct skilled nursing care to patients through assessment, teaching, and implementation of physician orders while monitoring responses and providing psychosocial support. Select, train, and evaluate a professional nursing and allied staff, ensuring orientation, continuing education, and timely performance evaluations. Oversee patient intake, documentation, and regulatory compliance, and assist in planning clinical policies and budget management. Manage hiring, performance reviews, and strategic planning for direct reports within a multi-state region covering Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and surrounding areas. Requires 100% in-office attendance Monday through Friday with on-call rotation and travel to locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 100% in-office
- Must be able to travel as needed to the locations listed in the schedule section
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
- Must have experience working as a Nurse Manager/Regional Nurse manager
- Must have a multistate RN license for the state of Minnesota in good standing
- Current RN Licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing- Minnesota
- Minimum 5 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical care
- Minimum 5 years Pediatric Nursing experience ideal
- Minimum 2 years management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures
- Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects
- Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
- Knowledge of State licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicable
- Ability to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medications
- Must be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion suite as needed
- Must have experience working as a Nurse Manager/Regional Nurse manager, Specialty Infusion Pharmacy preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferred
- Advanced certification a plus (i.e., CRNI, IgCN)
