Job Summary

Manage the day-to-day operations of the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) by handling case intake, data quality analysis, and direct support to agencies entering or managing missing and unidentified persons cases. Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program standards across your assigned region while providing technical assistance to state and local users. Support ongoing NamUs programs, initiatives, and national outreach efforts, including the management of free forensic services such as DNA, dental, fingerprinting, and Forensic Genetic Genealogy. Evaluate the impact of NamUs to aid medicolegal and investigative efforts. This full-time remote role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in law enforcement or forensic science, with core hours consistent but potentially adjusted for national time zone coverage.
