Job Summary
Lead and oversee mobile diesel service operations as Mobile Diesel Service Manager, supervising technicians, coordinating scheduling and dispatch, ensuring safety/compliance, and driving profitability through efficient repairs, preventive maintenance, and strong customer relationships. Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, parts, and service departments, monitor work order accuracy and productivity, and support recruiting and retention of mobile diesel technicians. Emphasize safety culture, adherence to manufacturer and company guidelines, and continuous process improvements to increase revenue and customer uptime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or diesel technology education preferred
- Minimum 5 years of diesel service experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in a diesel service manager role or foreman managing field service or mobile repair operations highly preferred
- Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems including engines, aftertreatment systems, electrical diagnostics, and preventive maintenance practices
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
