Job Summary
Regional Mobile Chef Manager responsible for stepping into different Caterplus kitchens across the Crowthorne/Berkshire region, covering planned and unplanned absences, delivering leadership and consistency to maintain Caterplus standards, ensuring health and safety and food safety compliance, and acting as the regional specialist for Textured Modified Foods (TMF) with training provided. You’ll build relationships with site managers and operations teams, manage diverse teams, and travel across sites (37.5 hours/week, 5 days). Must hold a full UK driving licence with own transport; car allowance and mileage provided. The role emphasizes autonomy, priority-setting across multiple locations, and visible impact in each kitchen.
Required Qualifications
- Senior chef experience
- Calm, organised and confident under pressure
- Strong kitchen management and people leadership
- TMF experience helpful (training provided)
- Full valid UK driving license and own transportation
