Job Summary
Senior Regional role overseeing Memory Care across Oakmont communities, focused on regulatory compliance, program development, and staff leadership for early to late-stage memory care programs. Travels within the portfolio to support Traditional Directors, conduct program audits, guide policy and procedure development, assist in new development openings (hiring, training, program setup, and grand openings), and ensure adherence to Oakmont standards across communities. Requires strong leadership, public-speaking ability, dementia-program expertise, RCFE/CA DDS credentials, and the ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and HR tasks in a dynamic multi-community environment. Must reside in Northern California, with a commute to Walnut Creek area, and be willing to travel extensively across California and Nevada portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age
- Min. 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent in a similar field
- Experience with persons with dementia for at least 2 years and 1 year in management/leadership
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BA/S in gerontology, psychology, social work, or related field, or 4 years experience in social services/residential care/psychiatric facility
- Ability to speak at public events
- Must meet CA DDS minimum qualifications of a dementia trainer
- Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification
- Pass a DOJ Criminal Background Check
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, scheduling, and HR/hiring understanding
- Experience training, coaching, mentoring, and developing staff
- Ability to organize and execute events
- Collaborative work style with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
