Job Summary
Lead Market Medical Directors and oversee pod performance across California, Washington, and Arizona to drive value-based care transformation. Train, coach, and mentor directors while providing strategic guidance on CMS regulations and ACO contractual obligations. Review key performance indicators, analyze data trends, and implement interventions to optimize practice workflows, documentation accuracy, and shared savings. Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership teams to align clinical initiatives and ensure ACO compliance with Vytal Signs gates. Present best practices to primary care practices and participate in physician advisory councils. Requires an MD or DO with five years of clinical experience, including two in a leadership role. Compensation includes base salary, performance-based incentives, and a 401K match. Hybrid work with occasional travel to primary care practices.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board certification in a primary care specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, or Pediatrics)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role within an ACO or similar healthcare organization
- Active medical license
- Board certification
- In-depth understanding of value-based care
- Knowledge of healthcare cost management and utilization review processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- This position may require in-person travel to various primary care practices within the ACO
Desired Qualifications
