Job Summary
Regional Medical Officer overseeing clinical operations and all clinical financial outcomes within multiple markets in a field-remote role. Responsible for leading clinical model improvements, physician management, and performance-based medical management; directly manages Alignment employee physicians in Fresno and Madera Counties; conducts SNF rounds; develops strategic and operational direction; analyzes performance data for executive leadership; engages with IPA partners; requires MD/DO, medical license, DEA, and board certification/eligibility; 5+ years in Hospitalist/Family Practice/Internist with administrative/managed care experience; hybrid on-site and remote work with home visits (2 days/week, up to 5 patients/day); salary range $262,145–$393,217; relocation/sign-on potential; benefits include bonus, RSU, CME reimbursement, PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, 401k, and parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Medical license in the state where applying
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- DEA license
- 5+ years of Hospitalist, Family Practice, or Internist experience preferred (graduate residents/fellows considered)
- 1+ years of Administrative Experience
- 1+ years of Managed Care Experience
- Spanish Speaking (preferred)
