Job Summary
Regional Medical Director (Psychiatrist) to oversee clinical operations for behavioral health in long-term care settings across a designated region. Lead a multidisciplinary team (including NPs, LISWs, psychologists, and counselors), provide psychiatric care (diagnosis, treatment, and medication management), collaborate on care plans, ensure CMS and regulatory compliance, maintain EMR documentation, and participate in quality assurance activities to drive high-quality, individualized care for residents.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified in Psychiatry (ABNP)
- Licensed to practice psychiatry in the state of Maryland or applicable state
- Proficiency in EMR systems and leadership in behavioral health
