Job Summary
The Regional MDS Coordinator - RN provides oversight and support to facility-level MDS Coordinators across the Mid-Atlantic region, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and optimizing reimbursement under the Patient-Driven Payment Model.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, active and in good standing
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility
- In-depth knowledge of CMS RAI guidelines, PDPM, ICD-10 coding, and state-specific requirements
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective training, coaching, and mentoring to facility staff
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT)
- RAC-CTA preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to travel regularly throughout the Mid-Atlantic region (up to 75%)
