Regional Marketing Director

Job Summary

Drive district sales, profitability, and operational performance by maintaining full accountability for all assigned corporate-owned stores in Texas. Lead achievement of financial objectives through monthly business reviews, labor budget management, and inventory audits while analyzing key performance indicators to mitigate risks. Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies that translate national initiatives into high-impact local execution across corporate and franchise operations. Manage multi-million dollar marketing budgets, forecast expenditures, and prioritize investments based on measurable business impact and return on investment. Oversee community engagement, brand visibility, and market development by building strategic partnerships with municipalities, schools, and hobby organizations. Conduct regular market visits to evaluate brand standards, merchandising effectiveness, and promotional execution, coaching Store Directors on localized strategies. Support new store openings, relocations, and grand openings while ensuring consistent brand representation across all locations. Provide executive marketing leadership to District Managers, Franchise Owners, and Store Directors, ensuring every marketing investment contributes to revenue growth and long-term customer loyalty.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Retail Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional marketing experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a marketing leadership or management role with direct responsibility for personnel, agencies, vendors, or cross-functional project leadership
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a multi-unit retail, franchise, consumer products, or specialty retail organization
  • Experience managing annual marketing budgets
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple marketing channels
  • Experience managing digital marketing initiatives, including website content, email marketing, paid advertising, social media, and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Experience utilizing marketing analytics platforms to evaluate campaign performance and marketing effectiveness
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and email marketing systems
  • Experience developing annual marketing plans and promotional calendars
  • Experience coordinating new store openings, promotional events, product launches, or comparable large-scale marketing initiatives
  • Experience managing relationships with external agencies, vendors, media partners, or marketing service providers
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel throughout Texas and other business locations as required
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background investigation, reference verification, and any other screenings required by Company policy
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned district

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience leading marketing initiatives within a franchise organization
  • Experience supporting both corporate-owned and franchised retail locations
  • Experience in specialty retail, toy, hobby, gaming, consumer products, or experiential retail industries
  • Experience developing and executing regional or national multi-market marketing strategies
  • Experience managing marketing functions for organizations operating 50 or more retail locations
  • Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar annual marketing budgets
  • Experience negotiating cooperative advertising agreements and vendor-funded marketing programs
  • Experience planning and executing grand openings, store relocations, remodels, or major retail launch events
  • Experience developing customer loyalty, rewards, or membership programs
  • Experience utilizing Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, or similar digital marketing platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar enterprise solutions
