Job Summary
Direct business development efforts and pursuit strategies for water/wastewater design-build projects while managing construction planning, estimating, pricing, and execution for complex infrastructure. Oversee multidisciplinary design and construction teams through full project delivery, leading subcontractor identification, vetting, partnering, and contract strategy. Partner with HSE leadership to promote safety culture and drive collaboration across offices and sector teams to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations. This senior leadership role supports recruiting efforts aligned with market growth strategies within Dewberry's water practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in water/WWTP or related field involving construction of complex MEP intensive projects
- Experience with water/wastewater projects for municipal and industrial facilities
- Strong knowledge of design‐build or alternative delivery methods
- Proven leadership in safety, QA/QC, risk management, and financial performance
- Strong business development skills
- Strong client relationship and subcontractor network in the Carolinas and Mid‐Atlantic
- Excellent communication and team‐building skills
