Job Summary
Regional Market Engineering Manager overseeing multi-station broadcast radio facilities in the Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Montrose, Casper, Cheyenne, and Laramie markets. Responsible for independent decision-making governing broadcast continuity, FCC compliance, and infrastructure strategy, including real-time problem resolution, vendor evaluation, and capital expenditure planning. Leads technical operations, performs root-cause analysis of equipment failures, and ensures regulatory compliance while coordinating across engineering and IT practices. Requires travel to transmitter sites, on-call availability, and a hybrid in-market schedule with after-hours/weekend work as needed. Proficiency with AoIP and automation systems (Zetta and Wheatstone preferred) and strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration with senior engineering and IT leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressively responsible broadcast engineering experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, networking concepts, computer hardware, and wireless/handheld devices
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
