Job Summary
Oversees operations for a portfolio of apartment communities, directing property managers, leasing consultants, and maintenance staff to maximize occupancy, ensure property appearance, and deliver a high-quality living experience for residents. Provides leadership and direction to on-site teams, analyzes financial performance to ensure profitability within annual budgets, partners with executive leadership to set property-specific goals, coaches and evaluates staff, and supervises vendor engagement and capital projects. Ensures marketing alignment with company vision, conducts market surveys to keep offerings competitively priced, manages invoicing and rent collection, utilizes Yardi and Microsoft Office for reporting, and participates in special projects as needed. Strong emphasis on relationship building with residents, partners, and internal teams, along with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pavement).
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree with ten plus years of property management experience
- five plus years of supervisory experience managing large-scale, residential apartment communities
