Job Summary
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Drive product promotion among doctors, hospitals, and healthcare professionals while monitoring performance to implement corrective actions. Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews for the sales team. Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, distributors, and institutions, preparing forecasts, budgets, and business plans. Ensure territory planning, resource allocation, and compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and training teams to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a managerial role within a pharmaceutical company
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strategic planning and business development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Territory and sales performance management
- Relationship management with healthcare professionals and distributors
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Diabetic and Cardiac therapeutic segments is preferred
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools is an added advantage
