Job Summary
Oversee operational performance and financial results for a residential portfolio of approximately 2,500 rental units across the Saskatoon region. Lead Property Managers and site teams to drive occupancy, resident retention, and capital planning while ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and industry best practices. Develop annual operating budgets, monitor key metrics, and resolve complex resident concerns to maintain high service standards. Utilize Yardi software for accurate reporting and foster a culture of accountability through team coaching and succession planning. This role requires a strategic leader with 7+ years of experience to contribute to the continued success of a well-established Canadian real estate organization.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential property management
- Experience managing large multi-site residential portfolios
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets and portfolio performance
- Experience using Yardi property management software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
- Strong understanding of residential tenancy legislation and property management best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience overseeing portfolios of 2,000+ residential units
- Professional designation such as CPM, RPA, or similar
- Experience managing capital improvement projects
- Background working within a national or regional real estate organization
