Job Summary
Regional Manager to lead service delivery across the designated region, ensuring culturally safe, high-quality outcomes for children, families, and communities. Lead regional service operations in alignment with REFOCUS’s strategic goals; provide leadership and direction to ensure culturally safe, high-quality service delivery; build and maintain strong partnerships with community, government, and stakeholders; oversee performance, reporting, and continuous improvement across programs; support workforce development, supervision, and team capability; ensure compliance with funding agreements, legislation, and organisational standards. Requires tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Management or related field and extensive experience (8+ years) in child safety or relevant sector; knowledge of Queensland legislation and child safety frameworks; Working with Children Check, Criminal history check, and a valid driver’s licence; available for a permanent part-time role (4 days) with SCHCADS Level 8.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Management or related field
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in child safety or relevant sector
- Knowledge of Queensland legislation and child safety frameworks
- Current Working with Children Check
- Criminal history check
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability to meet REFOCUS compliance and reporting requirements
- Ability to work within the 10 Child Safe Standards
