Job Summary
Regional Manager for SGS Regulatory in the South Island, based in Christchurch. Lead and develop a high-performing team of Engineer Surveyors, drive safety culture, manage day-to-day operations (including scheduling, timesheets, and invoicing), own the P&L, identify new business opportunities, and build strong client relationships. Requires experience in engineering/regulatory/industrial services, proven leadership, ability to manage multiple priorities, financial acumen, and knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred and CBIP qualifications advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Experience within the engineering, regulatory, or Industrial services sector
- Proven leadership experience, ideally managing technical teams
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial acumen, including understanding of financial performance (P&L)
- Sound knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements
- A Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred)
- Relevant CBIP qualifications would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
