Job Summary
Oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of properties by conducting weekly site visits, performing physical inspections, and managing vendor relationships. Lead team development through regular meetings, one-on-one coaching, and annual performance reviews while handling recruitment, onboarding, and conflict resolution. Serve as the primary client liaison to manage communications, execute business plans, and monitor marketing efforts. Approve expense requests, compile financial reports, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. This remote role based in the Sacramento area requires visiting sites four days per week and involves travel for property tours and maintenance shops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Four years in multifamily property management
- At least two years in a Community Manager role
- 3rd party management experience
- Knowledge of multifamily property management operations
- Knowledge of respective markets
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Knowledge of budgeting
- Knowledge of financial reporting
- Knowledge of variance analysis
- Skilled in organization
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled in Property Management Software such as Yardi
- Skilled in Revenue Management Software
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing
