Job Summary
Oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of properties by conducting weekly site visits, performing physical inspections, and managing vendor relationships. Lead team development through regular meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews while recruiting and interviewing site-level positions. Execute business plans for each community, approve expense requests, and analyze financial reporting to ensure alignment with budget expectations. Serve as the primary client liaison, handling unscheduled communications and resolving resident and vendor issues. This hybrid role requires four days per week at a corporate or regional office, with a Bachelor's degree and four years in multifamily property management preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Experience may substitute for education
- Four years in multifamily property management
- At least two years in a Community Manager role
- 3rd party management experience
- Knowledge of multifamily property management operations
- Knowledge of respective markets
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Knowledge of budgeting
- Knowledge of financial reporting
- Knowledge of variance analysis
- Skilled in organization
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled in Property Management Software such as Yardi
- Skilled in Revenue Management Software
- Including LRO
- Including AIRM
- Including Yieldstar
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally
