Job Summary
Oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of properties by conducting weekly site visits, performing physical inspections, and managing vendor relationships. Lead team development through regular meetings, one-on-one coaching, and annual performance reviews while recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding site-level staff. Serve as the primary client liaison to handle unscheduled communications, resolve resident and vendor issues, and execute business plans that align with company objectives. Compile and analyze financial reporting, approve purchase orders, and manage expense requests to maintain budget compliance. This remote role requires visiting sites four days per week from the Sacramento area and involves working in an open office environment with potential distractions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Experience may substitute for education
- Four years in multifamily property management
- At least two years in a Community Manager role
- 3rd party management experience
- Knowledge of multifamily property management operations
- Knowledge of respective markets
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Knowledge of budgeting
- Knowledge of financial reporting
- Knowledge of variance analysis
- Skilled in organization
- Ability to prioritize tasks

- Skilled in Property Management Software such as Yardi
