Job Summary
Oversee a portfolio of 5+ properties and 835+ units across the Bay Area, supervising district and community managers to ensure policy compliance and operational efficiency. Resolve resident relations issues, review expenditures within budgetary guidelines, and prepare annual operating budgets. Conduct quarterly regional inspections, audit administrative and maintenance areas, and complete required lender and regional reports. Mentor supervised employees, approve timecards and personnel status changes, and coordinate communication with community managers and corporate teams. Monitor marketing needs, suggest rent increases, and negotiate contracts to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or job experience may substitute for degree
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Regional Property Supervisor
- 3 years' experience managing/supervising multiple properties
- Knowledge of Section 42 Tax Credit Program, HUD, RHCP and local city and state programs
- Must be comfortable with regular travel to the Bay Area
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a time manner
- Must be able to effectively and manage individuals in order to encourage growth and success
- Must be able to speak clearly and professionally in positive and negative situations
- Must be able to writes clearly and informatively
- Must be able to give and welcomes feedback
- Must be able to follow company's policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values
- Must be available for working weekends, overtime and travel
- Must be available for Travel to corporate office in Roseville for meeting and trainings
- Must be available for Monthly and quarterly site visits to communities in portfolio
- Must be available to Attend and participate in all investor, bank, SHRA, CTCAC, and all tax credit property inspections
