Job Summary
Design and lead network-wide inventory management strategies across distribution centers, retail stores, and hubs. Own the annual physical inventory calendar, planning execution, and reconciliation while tracking performance to ensure accuracy and compliance. Direct a team of inventory specialists and site leads, providing strategic guidance on best practices and collaborating with Finance, Logistics, and IT to align initiatives with business goals. Create and enforce standardized policies, SOPs, and audit processes to optimize supply chain performance and reduce shrink. Lead root cause analysis for discrepancies and present findings to executive stakeholders. Travel up to 25% for inventory support and site leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory management
- at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing multi-site inventory
- Proven success managing large-scale physical inventories
- implementing inventory control systems
- Bachelor's degree
- Expertise in ERP and WMS systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% for inventory support and site leadership
- This role is located onsite in our North Carolina Distribution Center
