Regional Manager, International Technology (Shanghai based)

Job Summary
Regional Manager, Technology leads regional technology vendor performance and partners with franchise owners and regional leadership to align technology with business needs. The role drives issue resolution, identifies growth opportunities through technology, and represents regional priorities to central teams to support effective delivery across local markets. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day relationships with local and regional technology vendors, tracking performance against contracts and SLAs, mediating between markets and vendors, negotiating renewals, identifying opportunities to increase sales through vendor-enabled capabilities, translating technical concepts for regional leadership, and ensuring regional requirements are reflected in the global product roadmap. The role also includes triage and resolution of technical issues, coaching local teams on standards, and translating new business requirements into clear technical specifications for central Product and Development teams. The position requires degree-level education or equivalent professional experience and certifications in vendor management, service management (ITIL), or project management, with experience partnering with non-technical teams and operating across LATAM, EMEA, or APAC regions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
- Certification in vendor management, ITIL, or project management (preferred)
- Proven experience managing technology vendors or key supplier relationships
- Experience partnering with regional General Managers, franchisees, and central technology teams
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business impact for regional leadership
- Ability to work autonomously in a regional capacity
- Demonstrated vendor performance management and issue triage skills
- Direct experience in a regional market (LATAM, EMEA, or APAC) is a plus
