Job Summary
Represent the University of Waikato at recruitment events, education exhibitions, presentations, and stakeholder engagements across South China to drive international student recruitment. Advise prospective students on study options, support applications, and guide them through the enrolment process to improve conversion rates. Build and strengthen relationships with education agents, institutional partners, alumni, and other key stakeholders while delivering regular training to maximise recruitment outcomes. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and recruitment data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making. Identify and develop new institutional partnerships and business development opportunities aligned with the University's partnership strategy. Promote the University's programmes, scholarships, new initiatives, and digital recruitment strategies to increase enrolments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the University of Waikato College, and external partners to achieve regional recruitment objectives. Support in-country visits by senior University representatives and contribute to stakeholder engagement and regional initiatives. Ensure compliance with University policies, data privacy requirements, and health and safety standards while handling confidential information professionally. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term appointment with extensive travel within the region and to New Zealand.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience studying in New Zealand
- preferably as a graduate of the University of Waikato
