Job Summary
Develop and execute regional strategies integrating economic development and business relations objectives to support business attraction, retention, and expansion. Lead Economic Development and Business Relations teams by setting performance expectations and management systems that support customer service and operational excellence. Oversee identification of business opportunities through utility infrastructure planning and strategic incentives while directing Business Relations activities for major customer accounts and complex infrastructure projects. Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Regulatory teams to address customer and project needs, building professional relationships with local, regional, and statewide economic development and governmental organizations. Partner with developers, site selectors, and municipal leaders to position NYSEG and RG&E as economic and community development partners, supporting communications related to major infrastructure projects and emerging energy solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
